EVERY YEAR, AT THE SAME TIME...
For the nineth time Argentina and the European continent will hug each other through their film industries in the appropriate and majestic natural scenery of one of the most beautiful beaches on the South Atlantic coast. Pinamar will again offer its sea and forests, its refinement and elegance, its seduction and prestige to host a film celebration which has already become a young classic in the agenda of festivals during the first quarter every year. Its organizers: the Argentine National Institute of Film and Audiovisual Arts (INCAA) and the Municipal Government of Pinamar, with the sponsorship of the Cultural Institute of the Province of Buenos Aires.
By the end of the 2013 southern summer, along eight intense days, "Pantalla Pinamar" will show the best of the new film product from Argentina and the Old World in an impeccable and eclectic programming. The parade will include exclusive pre-premières, one-time presentations, revisions, cycles dedicated to European nations and communities, focuses on specially invited countries from other geographies, and much more. There will be fiction films, documentaries and short films. Waited for titles coming from the major international contests will be revealed. Tributes will be offered to big personalities. The Northamerican product will have its own space, as will the wave of works for children and the irresistible game of "The Surprise Film." As always, we will count on the presence of outstanding Argentine and foreign guests, authorities and professionals from all the summoned industries, representatives of the independent distribution, and an important flow of the press.
We are stimulated by the ever growing success of the past editions. And we are proud of the recent distinction bestowed on us due to our enterprise by the Argentina Cinematographic Feature Writers Associaction "for opening new horizons to other film industries and making it possible to bring them nearer to distribution in Argentina."
A bit of everthing and for everyone: "Pantalla Pinamar 2013."
